I couldn't find any consumer reports on medical alerts, just a bunch of ads. You will probably have to do the research for yourself. Many of the reviews you are going to see on the internet are actually not reviews but affiliate marketers making a commission on the sale of the medical alert system. My advice is to choose a company that you feel comfortable with. Call them up on the phone and talk with them. If you get an automated answering system, forget about. You want to be treated like your a human being and not some number to be added to their bottom line.

Here are a few companies I have heard of:

www.MedFirstAlert.com - 800-595-0718
www.lifealert.com - 800-360-0329
www.alert1.com - 866-581-4540
www.seniorsafety.com - 888-473-2800
www.lifestation.com - 877-354-3050
www.ADT.com - 888-242-0739
