I take it you copied and pasted all this from here?:
http://www.backtype.com/url/digg.com%252fusers%252fcarcar314/comment/00003057b65b082a087cd9e34a8557fc

The above post is not verbatim, but a random sampling and looking up the pages associated above suggests new HUGE government control programs and not just "letting American's keep their health care plan if they want to" B.S.

This Bill goes way beyond health care. It would expand massive government authority and control over people and business.

For those who think that reading off a teleprompter of what someone has told one to say, and believe that repeated media sound bites covers a story, needs to get their head out of the sand and WAKE UP.

I tried warning people BEFORE the election about this imposed socialism, government control and massive tax and spend we would be seeing from this Administration.

The left needs no proof for their arguments. That’s what is fundamentally wrong with their thinking. Can you imagine if Fmr Pres. Bush told you how you were going to live from now on, what kind of heath care you were going to have; what kinds of cars you should be driving; what and when you should be buying; and how you were going to live your life? What would the left media call that?

But when the left initiates such radical movements, it's called "Change."

Did anyone ever bother to ask what definition of "Change" means?

For those with no heath care, can't afford it, yes it is expensive.

There are ALREADY EXISTING aid programs available, but you have to get up off your butt and find out. It seems that the Messiah followers just want someone to hand it to them so they don't have to do anything. That is what people voted for: A parent.

Example in CA, those with low income or who are pregnant can get free to low cost heath care. It is a state tax payer funded PPO program covering health, dental, and vision for children that costs about $9 a month per child.

Notice one of the ways to get this insurance is simply to have sex and get pregnant. You don't have to have citizenship. You could have gotten preg in another country, come to CA and Walla; we flip the medical bill for you then the child for the next 19 years. Got preg again? No prob, CA will pay for that too. 8 kids, no problem, CA will pay for that too.

There is also a "no-cost Medi-Cal program" in CA. What this means is everyone else is helping to provide free health care to those who make zero dollars.

CA tax payers also will pay for 13 years of education (K-12), and offers all kinds of economic support. If you work, make any money, forget it, you are on your own.

If you don't work, don't want to work much, are here illegally, no problem, CA will pay for most to all your heath care bills for19 years, plus give a bonus of 13 years of free education.

So where has that thinking taken the Golden State?
Massive state deficits, and higher taxes for anyone who still has a job left, and who has decided to remain in the state.
http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2009/07/01/california-crisis-a-threat-to-us-economic-recovery/

I'll write more on this on my blog.

In short, we already have all kinds of EXISTING social welfare and social programs available by the state and federal gov. Why we need a new Trillion Dollar+ federal plan with all kinds of attached issues that has little to do with health care is a bigger issue.

Check your state.
I'm sure most if not all states have some EXISTING social assistance programs.

Please try and not be mislead by political rhetoric.

I just want to be able to see a doctor without going to the emergency room. I have not had insurance since 18. I have hospital bills from way back then. Twelves years later still no insurance. I dont know how the economy is where u r at but I am in Detroit. I have been unemployed for about a year and a half now. I am a student again and I cant afford private health care. A lot of people r in my situation in MI. What r we supposed to do if we cant afford health care?

It looks like you did a lot of work, and i was interested in reading it but once you put your own opinions in it you ruined it. I'm a big boy, I can read and interpret the bill by myself. You just wasted a lot of time writing this because anyone who doesn't already agree with you is just going to stop reading after the 3rd line.

We need to get the government out of the business of meddling in health care, which was far more affordable and accessible before government got involved with Medicaid and Medicare. Short of that, and more politically feasible in the immediate run, is to allow consumers and their doctors to pull themselves out of the system through medical savings accounts. We’ve had managed care in this country since the early 1970s, and it hasn’t worked well. It’s very, very expensive, and it’s the fault that we changed our ERISA law and our tax laws that created this corporatism that runs medicine. Wall Street rakes off the profits. The patients are unhappy. The doctors are unhappy. And it’s a monopoly now. Who lobbies us in Washington? The drug companies and the HMOs. They come. And now what is the cry for? Socialized medicine. That’s not the answer. We need to get the government out of the way. Inflation hits the middle class and the poor the most. Those are the people who are losing it. We don’t have enough competition. There’s a doctor monopoly out there. We need alternative health care freely available to the people. They ought to be able to make their own choices and not controlled by the FDA preventing them to use some of the medications that can help with there ailments when the drugs we do have available don't work or the treatments are too expensive. And I understand that we need to help the poor the most through this. So get rid of the foreign policies that are draining us (Iraq, military bases around the world, our imperialistic nature) and use that money we can be saving towards our the debt that our poor patients cannot pay to the doctors that help them.
