The only saving grace might be congress….spooky as that may sound. I just don’t think the Dems have enough balls to shove through something they KNOW will lose them their jobs come election time.

December 6th, 2009 at 7:07 amThe administration will continue to push for increasing control in the name of averting the economic crisis and "taking care" of the people. Liberty will be lost regardless. Expect a watered down health care bill, immigration reform to legalize 20 million people who crossed our borders illegally, several more concessions to foreign terrorists and their governments, and likely increasing censorship of the media (as in the fairness doctrine and more recently, a bill to allow the white house to control the census or shut down the internet if necessary for security).
It will be a slow, cushy, soft tyranny. And I don’t know if it’s reversible.

Once the Govt gets it’s nose under the tent like Medicare the real fight begins but these libs will never stop so we need to have a Constitution Convention and add an amendment that disallows the Fed govt from providing h/c so there is no need for liberal interpretations of the Constitution.

What you need to realize is this is a piece of what has been in the mill since FDR and his Great Society campaign.
It was originally designed to work alongside what Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid were supposed to be, individual paid-in accounts that paid out based on interest. They were trojan horses from the beginning, but the DNC, thankfully, wasn’t smart enough or patient enough to work them in piece-by-piece, as FDR and his mentor, Thomas Dewey had envisioned.
The Fabian Socialists within the DNC and GOP have been working as hard as they could to slip in a little piece here and a little piece there. The original national health care bill first hit Congress in 1953, and what we see now is just an assemblage of pieces of that program.
The current president is nothing but a means to an end. His unconstitutional status in office and FDR-like false eloquence (can’t speak without a teleprompter, literally) are only the icing on a big, nasty cake.

People who do not want change are comfortable because their boss is paying for it. We own small business and i can assure you small businesses will start to make you pay or pay part. Our insurance went up 38,000 bucks this year, so guess what?? we will be dropping folks. then you will be screaming when you pay everything and have no pay checks.
