Life After High School? College?

<< Question going out to salon owners or similar business owners!?  What are my chances of getting into a good UC like UCSD? >>

I am at my senior year in high school and realize I should of done better. All I did is slack off before. Now I do all my work and get above average grades with one below average. I work hard but still believe it is no enough. I want to major in computer hardware engineer. I got a 2.5 GPA and still working to stay up there senior year. I am going for a standard diploma. I feel like i messed up really bad and not going to have a future. Can I still fix things up? By going to a 2 year at a community college and transferring to a real college for a major.

A lot of people do that; go to a 2 year college and transfer. If you transfer, the 4 year college will only look at your community college grades and not your high school grades. Good luck!

What it’s going to depend on now is your ACT or SAT score. If you get a good one, you can really go to most state colleges without an issue. You didn’t mess up. You just learned from your mistakes, which is something you can point out to an admissions board.

Going to a community college is a great way to save money and get a little experience before jumping into university life. It wouldn’t hurt to start there, that’s for sure.

Of course. Just keep up the hard work in community college, and your high school grades won’t matter.
