    99% reliability rate, so 1% failure rate

    1) P(at least one alarm is triggered) = 1 – P(all nine alarm failed)
    = 1 – 0.01^9 = very close to 1

    2) P( more than 7 are triggered) = P(8 triggered) + P(all triggered)
    = 9C8 * 0.99*8 *0.01 + 9C9 * 0.99^9 = 0.99656427
